Based on technology and quality developed in Japan, Morinaga Milk Industry exports infant formulas outside of Japan as well. In Indonesia and China, we have formed joint venture companies for producing and selling these products.
In Indonesia, a joint venture with our local partner has successfully expanded sales, bringing Morinaga Milk Industry powdered milk for infants and young children to many people.
Also, we have developed technologies that enable longer storage of tofu, which we used to export tofu to various countries. In the United States, where tofu remains unfamiliar to many, we have worked to spread tofu use and educate customers, and we have even established a local company that manufactures and sells tofu there.
Infant Formula
We produce infant formula in Japan, as well as in cooperation with partner companies in Europe and Indonesia for export to a number of countries, including Pakistan, Afghanistan and Vietnam.
In Indonesia, our milk formula products for infants and children are produced to the same strict quality standards as found in Japan.
We also produce and export products for pregnant women and nursing mothers.
Tofu
Morinaga's technology made it possible to store tofu for long periods.
We began exporting tofu in 1978, and now export it for sale in more than 30 countries, primarily in the United States and countries in Asia, Europe and Oceania. Our customers love how easy we have made it for them to get the delicious flavor of authentic tofu anytime.
